The Months
The plants are poking up out of the ground.
Green sprouts will cover everything for now.
Then, pretty flowers grace the world around.
Before the seeds turn hard and start to bow.
In the middle of June or May, it’s nice
To see an entire meadow filled by
Colorful blooms of a different price.
It leads to a very jealous July.
Not to mention the months before May day,
Who cannot make anyone stand still long.
March and February have less to say
Against the winter’s charm or summer’s song.
Each month has value, everyone should know,
Just some months are better at the big show.
