Regret?
Of all the people I dare not know;
Of all the hearts unwon;
Of everything in life untold;
If only our death could summon
A blasted bit of love.
I cared for all the miseries;
I showed a miser’s stage.
I can’t repress the memories,
But I can caress the cage,
From those love worn days.
Everything of gods’ will sent
Everything of life own torment
Everything a degree of suspense.
And without it all,
The day’s not worth regret.
