Poem: Come, Doggy, Come

I have made people cry with this one.

Come, Doggy, Come

Come here, doggy.
Come I say;
They no longer need
You that way.
I’m calling you
To measure wings.
Happy days forever
I will bring.

If you fail
To answer me.
My friend,
The Devil,
You might
Meet in the end.
I wish you
No harm from him.

So come to me,
My puppy prince,
I’ll sing your praises
And cut you wings.
This cloud up here,
You may call home.
Just live with me
And eat all the bones.
