Basic Almond Cookie
Ingredients::
- 4 c almond flour
- 2/3 c dark maple syrup
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp cream of tartar
Equipment::
- cookie sheet
- large bowl
- spoon
- Aluminum foil
Directions::
- Mix everything together.
- Preheat oven to 350.
- Shape the cookies on to the foil lined cookie sheet.
- Bake for 8 to 15 minutes.
- Let cool.
Notes::
- Be wary of add ins. Flavorings are fine. Small amounts of chopped nuts, chips, or dried fruit is fine. One teaspoon of flavorings. Quarter of a cup of solid add ins.
- You can use amber maple syrup instead. Or corn syrup. Or even molasses. Just realize it changes the consistency and flavor a touch.
