Poem: The Memory

The Memory

The memory speaks about love,
And tears about friendship.
It cries over the loss,
That I do not even question.
This creature is so depressed,
Where I just stand at attention,
Waiting to be called on up.
I pat the memory on the shoulder,
As it looks right through my body.
It was then that I realized;
It was the memory of Me.
