Let it go
don’t mask yourself
forget the insults
crude as they may be

let it go
let the stim show
you can be you
even if everyone scorns

let it go
child, you are safe
you are loved
those who matter don’t mind

let it go
don’t hide it away
show it off
you’re better free of masking

let it go
child, be you
it’s the best choice
ignore the society that says “No.”
