Poem: Dragon Tale

Dragon Tale

The one of old forgotten tale
relives their life on the mound of gold
the sleep has kept them away
and now hunger causes for alarm
the wisps of wind and gathering doom
the village scream and creatures zoom
soon the old one swoops down low
captured sheep within their maw
with hunger doused another day
return they will to their golden tome
