Poem: To My Wandering Spirit Friend

(I am full of strange poems. I hope you enjoy this one.) (Sonnet)

To My Wandering Spirit Friend

Every now and again, you visit me
standing around, waiting, or hovering
just seeing if maybe I notice thee.
Sometimes, I fail big missing everything.

Your words have me confused more than not.
It’s not in English; how could I not see?
I even copied singing without thought;
strange to think no one made me pay a fee…

Finally, figured it out, I’ll confess!
It’s the Korean language you’re stressing.
Somehow, I never heard enough to guess,
but truly I am only digressing.

With this new knowledge, I can say with heart,
“사랑해, my wandering friend, you’re art.”
