Cat Gillette’s Autist : Dedication

Let’s get started on about posts. Posts to show a little bit about each of the published works. I’ve been meaning to do it. [Autist] is a collection of short stories and poetry. I still want to explain it to reach a proper length of a book, but for now, it is a short collection of my work.

Autist’s Dedication:

Autist cover by Cat Gillette. Green letters on a watery background with a starfish centered.

Autist is dedicated to all the autists. We are normal. There is nothing wrong with us.

Autist’s Dedication

Dedication:

I wanted to give autists the chance to be the main characters of their own story. Many of my stories end up with autists everywhere. Because it’s harder for me to write a character who isn’t like me. Natalie in P.I.N.C. series looks and sounds and acts autistic. There is no classification in that world. She’s seeking a home. A place she can be herself. That’s something many of us autists seek.

Those within this collection aren’t seeking. They already have that home. They have that safety net. Because I want other autists to know, a safety net is possible. It can exist. There are people you can lean on as you are. Don’t mask or hide your nature. Be you. Be yourself. And your community will accept you. As you are.

So this collection is for all the autists out there.

You can buy the ebook of Autist on Amazon (US) or you can buy it within the paperback [Hartliebe Poems and Shorts] on Amazon (US).

If you have any specific questions about any of my books, let me know. I am always willing to talk about my work.
