Tod Leben’s Just a Little Bit of Life: Why did I publish this?

Let’s get started on about posts. Posts to show a little bit about each of the published works. I’ve been meaning to do it. [Just a Little Bit of Life] is a collection of short stories. It will eventually expand to Just Life, but that will be a full paperback of short stories (and possibly poems).

Just a Little Bit of Life’s Reason for Existence

Why did I publish such a small collection of stories?

I have so many works that are just random fiction stories. Most tag into Tod Leben for some reason. So the idea became, I would publish them as a group called Just Life.

I was going to wait for all of the stories to be ready, but couldn’t force myself to sit down and work. I burnt out from editing and publishing over the course of the year (did you see how many I published in 2021?).

But I had published Comeback Tour on Youtube. I wrote it for 권지용 (aka GDragon). So I posted the reading for it before I created this collection. I wanted to wait to get everything together for the full book, but the burn out was lasting too long. I took the four stories I had finished and shoved them into a short precursor collection.

One day, Just Life will exist. This book will be unpublished at that point. I have no idea when that will happen. I have too many plans because I have too much work. (And ADHD makes things difficult to focus.)

Will things change more than just the title? No idea at this point. I have put the entire process on hiatus.

I’m still sitting on burn out from editing and publishing. Call yourselves lucky I’m publishing anything this year.

You can buy the ebook Just a Little Bit of Life on Amazon (US).

If you have any specific questions about any of my books, let me know. I am always willing to talk about my work.
