There is little going right
But I’m still required to try
And the trying grants me
A real chance
Right?
As I face off with life
I find hiding within
A simple mark
That means the world
J can protect me
It can save me
It always has
Since I first found it
It may not be exactly what I want
But it’s closer than
Nothing at all
And that’s life
I’ll keep trying
I’ll keep going
I’ll succeed
In some way, somehow
J will help me
